was a childhood doodler. Her first remembered drawing was a pencil sketch of spider man copied off of a Dr. Pepper can, drawn on a school desk when she was around 9 years old. At that time, she aspired to be a professional soccer player and hallmark-card designer.

The professional soccer-player dreams were replaced by a collegiate career in running, which gave way to a career in law. She is now returning to her roots as a creator, exploring life through art (and music… a story for another time).

While Julie’s art usually aims to capture a thought, feeling, or an essence, sometimes the art comes from elsewhere. At these times, her only task is to express what wishes to take form.
